Please share this free event with the Class of 2017 and their parents. This event is for high school seniors who have an interest in engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.
The Equal Opportunity in Engineering (EOE) Program at The University of Texas at Austin along with student members of Pi Sigma Pi Minority Academic Engineering Society, the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and EOE Engineering Ambassadors invite your students to attend Longhorn Engineering: The Power to Shape your World.
At Longhorn Engineering, students get clarity on The University of Texas at Austin’s engineering majors through various activities and an engineering presentation. During this special event, we will have engineering students facilitate activities related to their major and talk about their experience at UT Austin. This is an invite-only event for high school seniors who are interested in learning more about engineering majors at The University of Texas at Austin.
Outstanding African American, Hispanic, Native American and Native Hawaiian students, as well as those who have overcome social or economic hardship are encouraged to attend. Longhorn Engineering is open to seniors with an interest in engineering, math, and science. Also, parents will have the option of attending a parent session geared specifically for them.
